Thursday night preseason games schedule

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers don't play their second preseason game until Saturday, but most of the NFL starts their second week today. That means there's lots of football to watch, though no, perhaps, the highest quality football.

Most relevant for Bucs fans: the 8 p.m. ET matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns -- division rival takes on next week's preseason opponent. Those two games will provide a nice barometer for the Bucs' roster.

Other than that, the New England Patriots will likely give Jimmy Garoppolo a whole lot of playing time in anticipation of his four starts to begin the season -- so that should be an interesting disaster. And the Philadelphia Eagles might be a good watch, if only because they played the Bucs last week. More barometers!

Here's the schedule for tonight, all times in ET.

7:00 p.m.

Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers

7:30 p.m.

CIncinnati Bengals at Detroit Lions

8:00 p.m.

Atlanta Falcons at Cleveland Browns

Chicago Bears at New England Patriots

Oakland Raiders at Green Bay Packers

10:00 p.m.

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks
