The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been trying to put together a dominant defensive line for years and years and years, and it’s finally showing up today: they’re absolutely destroying the Philadelphia Eagles, with Robert Ayers and rookie Noah Spence (!!) leading the way.
Here's an in-game look at the Ayers at DT, Spence at LDE front Tampa's been practicing. Clear to see the success. pic.twitter.com/odS16OzExP

Spence basically played the entire first quarter at right defensive end, and he’s practically a starter. Only on very clear running downs is he not in the game — though some of this has to do with William Gholston missing this game due to a family matter. Meanwhile, Ayers is playing both defensive end spots and defensive tackle, and looking disruptive everywhere.
Spence, though, really stands out. His explosion off the ball just jumps off the screen, and he’s beaten the Eagles’ left tackles several times already. He’s going to be really fun to watch this year.
