Teams don’t release official injury reports during the preseason, but we can confidently say that at least three players won’t be suiting up tonight for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Philadelphia Eagles. J.R. Sweezy has yet to practice this offseason and was last seen visiting a doctor in California for his back issues, so he’s probably not going to be suiting up. Just a hunch.
Meanwhile, Vincent Jackson and Charles Sims have been held out of practice the past few weeks, and won’t be playing tonight, according to Rick Stroud. No real worries there: their injuries are supposedly minor, and they’re expected to be fine for the rest of the preseason, but they’re not going to be playing today.
The Bucs play the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. ET tonight in Philadelphia. You can catch them on WTTA 38 in the Tampa Bay area, a different channel from previous seasons.
