John Lynch's Ring of Honor induction against the Falcons

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that they'll be inducting John Lynch into the Ring of Honor on November 3rd, against the Atlanta Falcons. The game will be a Thursday Night game, which means both teams will wear their so-called Color Rush uniforms. With both teams having red as their primary color, it's not clear which team will get a Color Rush uniform consisting of a secondary or tertiary color.

Lynch's induction into the Ring of Honor had been announced months ago, in hopes that an early announcement would help him get into the Hall of Fame. That ploy failed, but it'll still be great to see the former Pro Bowler and All Pro go into the Ring of Honor and join Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, Jimmie Giles, John McKay, Paul Gruber and Lee Roy Selmon. That's a well-deserved honor.

For that to happen at a night game is also interesting. He won't be the first to go into the Ring under those circumstances, Warren Sapp was inducted on Monday Night Football in 2013, but it should still be a fairly unique spectacle.
