Buccaneers sign 19 undrafted free agents after 2016 NFL draft

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed nineteen college free agents following the 2016 NFL draft, the team just announced. All 19 had been reported to be signing earlier. The team also officially released kicker Connor Barth after drafting his replacement in Roberto Aguayo.

The Bucs will hold a rookie mini-camp next weekend, starting on Friday. Here are the free agents the Bucs signed, and some relevant details for each of them.

WR Anthony Kelly, Kutztown
6'3". 210 lbs. 38 catches for 437 yards and seven touchdowns as a redshirt senior. 97 catches for 1,406 yards and 22 TDs in career. 4.40-second 40-yard dash.

RB Peyton Barber, Auburn
238 carries for 1,017 yards and 13 TDs as a redshirt sophomore in 2015. 5'10", 228 lbs., 4.64-second 40-yard dash. Second cousin of Marion Barber.

TE Tim Brown, West Chester
6'3", 235 lbs., had 33 catches for 444 yards and 5 TDs last year. Almost lost his 2015 eligibility due to a coaching staff screw up.

DB Isaiah Johnson, South Carolina$2,500 signing bonus, per Aaron Wilson
Started at safety for two years at Kansas State, transferred to South Carolina in 2015 after graduating. Seven career interceptions in three seasons. Greg Auman notes he played for Bucs secondary coach Jon Hoke last season.

LB Luke Rhodes, William & Mary
6'2", 242 lbs. 4.71 40-yard dash. High school running back.

TE Kivon Cartwright, Colorado State
6'3", 241 lbs., 4.75-second 40-yard dash. Long arms and big hands. 75 catches for 1,136 yards in three years of playing time as a tight end. Missed 2014 with injury.

T Leonard Wester, Missouri
6'5", 307 lbs. 14th-ranked tackle on Jon Ledyard's draft board.

LB Tyson Coleman, Oregon
6'1". 235 lbs. Two-year starter, had 12 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in 2015.

OL Dominique Robertson, West Georgia
6'5", 324 lbs. 5.36-second 40-yard dash. All-around disappointing combine numbers. Started college at Texas Tech but didn't play much. Nephew of OL coach George Warhop, per Auman.

DB Elijah Shumate, Notre Dame. $15,000 signing bonus, per Greg Auman.
6'0", 216 lbs. 4.58-second 40-yard dash Two-year starter at safety, two interceptions, six passes defenses and 93 tackles during that time.

DT Jontavius Morris, Western Kentucky
6'2", 295 lbs. Two sacks and five tackles for loss in 2015. Played three seasons at the University of Alabama-Birmingham before transferring.

WR Dez Stewart, Ohio Dominican
6'0", 203 lbs, 4.43-second 40-yard dash. 196 catches for 3,197 yards and 25 touchdowns in four seasons. Most per-game production in 2015, with 68 catches for 903 yards and 7 touchdowns. Had 62 catches for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2014 in three more games.

DL Channing Ward, Ole Miss
6'4", 279 lbs. 6.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss in four years. Blue-chip recruit out of high school, but a backup at Ole Miss. 2014 DUI arrest.

LB Cassanova McKinzy, Auburn
6'1", 248 lbs. 258 total tackles, 28.5 for loss and 8.5 sacks in four years. 20 QB hurries in 2015 mostly as an inside blitzer, per NFL.com.

DL Davonte Lambert, Auburn
6'2", 282 lbs. 3.5 sacks and 9.5 sacks in 20 games. Transferred from junior college (Georgia Military School) where he racked up eight sacks and went to the 2012 NJCAA national championship game.

S Traveon Henry, Northwestern
6'1", 215 lbs. Three-year starter, nine passes defensed and three interceptions in his career, including two as a senior.

RB Russ Hansbrough, Missouri
5'9", 195 lbs. 2,344 career rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 467 carries, plus 30 catches for 128 yards. Career-highs in 2014 with 205 carries for 1,084 yards and 10 TDs.

TE Alan Cross, Memphis, per John Martin of ESPN
6'1", 235 lbs. 90 career catches for 1,050 yards and 14 touchdowns, over four seasons.

T Taylor Fallin, Memphis, per John Martin of ESPN
6'6", 339 lbs.

In addition, the Buccaneers reportedly invited the following players to rookie minicamp. They could be signed after this weekend, if they stand out.

QB Phillip Ely, Toledo, per Jenna Laine -- camp invite
Started at Alabama in 2011 but never got on the field. Transferred to Toledo in 2013 and finally got a full season as a starter in 2015 as a redshirt senior. Completed 226 of 403 passes for 2,965 yards, 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and helped Toledo win a bowl game. Wanted to play a sixth season but was denied eligibility by NCAA.

G Rob Trudo, Syracuse, per his agent
6'3", 284 lbs. Has played center and both guard positions. Four-year starter, redshirt senior.

DE Mike Kozlakowski, Maine, per his agent
6'3", 250 lbs. Redshirt senior. Missed almost all of 2013 and 2014 with injuries. 4.82-second 40-yard dash at his pro day, very good 1.60-second 10-yard split.

QB Steven Bench, USF, per Greg Auman
Started career at Penn State before transferring. Only started three games in three years with the Bulls.

WR Roman Namdar, Mount Union, per Luke Easterling
6'0", 185 lbs. 70 catches for 1,287 yards and 18 touchdowns as a redshirt junior in 15 games. 70 catches for 1,103 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior. Started his college career as a quarterback, switched to receiver in his final two years.
