The NFL has announced the 2016 preseason schedule, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will once again have a nationally televised game. On Friday, August 26 they'll take on the Cleveland Browns in Raymond James Stadium on CBS, which will be shown nationwide on CBS.
The Bucs wil open with two games on the road, to give the Raymond James Stadium renovations (including brand-new video boards, finally) some extra time. That means the team's most important game in week three, when starters will get the most playing time, will be played in Tampa. It also means its least important week four-game will be played there, of course.
Interestingly, the Bucs will not be playing the Miami Dolphins in the preseason for the first time in 16 years. Instead, their intrastate game will be played against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington will round out the schedule.
