The 2016 NFL draft starts on Thusday, with Roger Goodell presenting every first-round pick. But the remaining two days will see team presenters presenting the second- through seventh-round picks.
For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, former defensive tackle and first-round pick Booger McFarland will present the team's second-round picks, former cornerback Ronde Barber the third-round picks, and announcer and celebrity Bucs fan Dick Vitale the fourth- through seventh-round picks. That's what the team announced today.
Ronde Barber was a third-round pick himself, way back in 1997. He retired after a sixteen-year NFL career that included five Pro Bowls and three first-team All-Pro selections. The Bucs would be pretty happy if their third-round pick this year comes even remotely close to that kind of performance. Booger McFarland was a first-round pick in 1999 and produced seven years of quality, though not dominant, play for the Bucs.
The draft itself starts tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. ET. If you want to know how to watch every pick, and at what time to tune in, check out our dates and times post.
