The Denver Broncos are set to trade for Colin Kaepernick, if the San Francisco 49ers quarterback agrees to take a pay cut. That's according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, who notes the Broncos would send a "mid-round pick" to San Francisco for Kaepernick.
Assuming that trade goes through, it's the second domino to fall in the offseason quarterback games, behind the Houston Texans signing Brock Osweiler. The Bucs, of course, are in those games entirely by virtue of having a good backup quarterback in Mike Glennon.
Tampa Bay's been talking about trading Glennon for a while now, and they've publicly acknowledged as much -- after insisting for most of the past year that Glennon was here to say. The New York Jets have been the team most frequently linked to Glennon, behind the Broncos, and they'd be the most sensible landing spot for him. However, they're also still trying to re-sign Ryan Fitzpatrick.
