The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tendered long-snapper Andrew DePaola, according to his agent, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. DePaola was an exclusive-rights free agent, which means he'll make close to minimum salary this season.
DePaola has been the Bucs' long-snapper for two seasons and I can't remember a bad snap during that period, so I guess he's doing his job. Good fun.
The Bucs also tendered exclusive rights free agent Jeremiah George, according to Greg Auman. The linebacker was a fifth-round pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014 but joined the Bucs last year and played 15 games as a special-teamer.
Both players will have to earn their place on the roster, as bottom-of-the-roster players have to every year, but they're good depth to have around anyway.
