If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers want to upgrade their receiving corps, they'll have to look at someone not named Alshon Jeffery. The wide receiver will be retained by the Chicago Bears, either with a long-term deal or a franchise tag -- or so ESPN's Adam Schefter expects, anyway.
The Bucs have two quality starting receivers in Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson, and should get Louis Murphy back from injury as well. But they could certainly use some depth, as injuries depleted their receiving corps to the point where they were leaning on multiple undrafted free agents at the end of last season. Jeffery would have been a great pick-up, but not a realistic one given that the Bucs are reportedly going to keep Vincent Jackson and his salary.
The Bucs could look elsewhere, though, especially at a player that can also serve as a quality punt-returner. The Cleveland Browns' Travis Benjamin has been named before, and he's expected to hit free agency this year. At least Lavonte David wants the Bucs to grab him.
