The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos will face off in Super Bowl 50 this Sunday. It should be a fascinating game, featuring two very good defenses, and a sure Hall of Fame quarterback on one side, with one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL on the other side.
I have two real questions:
1) How will Peyton Manning cope with the Panthers defense after collapsing for half the regular season?
2) How will the Broncos defense adjust to Cam Newton, the best quarterback on the move in the NFL?
The fact that both of those questions are focused on Denver doesn't bode well for their chances. This is the same team that got destroyed by a mobile quarterback in the Super Bowl two years ago, after all. And Newton has been a better quarterback so far than Wilson was at the time. So hey, I'm saying the Panthers win -- leaving the Atlanta Falcons as the only Super Bowl-less team in the NFC South.
