Jameis Winston nominated for Clutch Performer of the Week

Jameis Winston has been nominated for the Clutch Performer of the Week award. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback led the Bucs to a fourth-quarter comeback, the third in his career.

Winston completed 20 of 30 passes for 280 yards, one touchdown and one interception. His one touchdown to Cameron Brate gave the Bucs a 26-21 lead midway through the fourth quarter, which he then extended to 28-21 with a two-point conversion to Mike Evans.

Winston’s up against Khalil Mack, Eric Berry, Patrick Peterson and Tom Brady, so it seems a little unlikely he’ll actually win this vote, especially given Berry’s rather heroic performance against the Atlanta Falcons, but who knows? You can vote for Winston here.
