The Tampa Bay Buccaneers started off slow on Sunday Night Football, but they adjusted after half-time. Down 17-6, they got the ball to start the second half and didn’t wait long to get back in it. Jameis Winston knew just what to do on his first real deep pass of the game.

Adam Humphries catches the deflected pass for SIX! #SiegeTheDay https://t.co/SMgxoOaYg8
That ball is just a little underthrown, which is what you get with a right-handed quarterback moving left and throwing back to the right. That’s why Brandon Carr can get his hands on it — but not enough to actually pick it off, and a great adjustment by Adam Humphries turns that into a touchdown.
Those are the Bucs we’d hoped to see today, and not the Bucs we saw in the first week. And those are the Bucs that showed up on the subsequent drive, too, giving them a 20-17 lead midway through the third quarter.
