The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have Lavonte David on the field today against the Dallas Cowboys. The Pro Bowl linebacker’s participation was in doubt after he was limited in practice with a hamstring strain, but he will suit up, per the official list of inactive players.
The Bucs will be without right tackle Demar Dotson, who’s in the concussion protocol, and veteran Gosder Cherilus will take his place. Other than that, the Bucs are healthy — which makes for one interesting deactivation: Jacquizz Rodgers will not play today, with the Bucs preferring to keep undrafted rookie Peyton Barber on the field instead.
As for the Cowboys, they’re missing two defensive starters in cornerback Morris Claiborne and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. Safety J.J. Wilcox, who has started four games this season, and backup defensive tackle Cedric Thronton are also out with injury. Other than that, the Cowboys are entirely healthy.
