The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have painted their end zones red for today’s game against the New Orleans Saints, and presumably the rest of the season. It looks pretty sweet. Compare Greg Auman’s photo below to the end zone picture above.

I can’t recall the last time the Bucs did this — that may have been during their last playoff game in 2008, when the end zones looked like this.
Let’s hope that set a nice precedent: red end zones = playoffs. The Bucs are 7-5 and pretty close to getting into the playoffs, so this should be totally doable.
