Watch Mike Evans make Richard Sherman look silly

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the Seattle Seahawks 14-0 after one quarter, with two perfect offensive drives leading to two perfect touchdown. Both of them were Jameis Winston finding Mike Evans in the end zone, but the second one was a real beauty.

It was especially beautiful because it showed Evans clearly beating All-Pro Richard Sherman, a matchup that everyone covering this game has been talking about all week.

The key here is, as usual, the release. Mike Evans wins at the line of scrimmage, and once he’s in front of Richard Sherman that’s all she wrote. All of that handfighting can’t change that — and Evans cements it with a beautiful over-the-head catch, with his arms extended so Richard Sherman can’t remotely impact that play.

If the Bucs can keep up this level of play, they should get their most impressive win of the season — and at home, too.
