It’s a Sunday in November, which means it’s NFL game day. The 5-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the 7-2-1 Seattle Seahawks today in Tampa Bay in what should be a pretty good game.

The Seahawks come into this game as their usual dominant self, but they’re facing several key injuries. Most notably, All-Pro safety Earl Thomas will miss his first game since entering the NFL in 2010, and defensive lineman Michael Bennett won’t be able to play, either. Those are some hefty blows to a usually dominant defense, creating opportunities for a Bucs offense that appears to be on the rise.

Meanwhile, the Bucs are looking better every game, especially on offense. Unfortunately for them, they’ve only won one home game all season, while winning four road games. Hopefully that’s just a weird split that has no causal relationship with playing at home.

A win would catapult the Bucs back into the NFC South race, a race they almost certainly need to win to get into the playoffs. A loss would make their path to the top significantly more difficult. As for the Seahawks, they’ve basically clinched the NFC West and are now fighting for such thing as “first-round bye” or “home field advantage”, rather arcane stuff to most Bucs fans.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch today’s game.
