The first injury report for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks is out, and it’s a doozy.
The Bucs had just two players sitting out today’s practice in center Evan Smith and cornerback Brent Grimes. Both are likely to miss Sunday’s game, though things could change going forward. The Bucs are otherwise healthy, getting Jacquizz Rodgers back in practice, albeit on a limited basis. Kevin Pamphile has yet to pass a concussion test, but is once again practicing fully.
As for the Seattle Seahawks, they’re a lot more banged up. Safety Earl Thomas and defensive lineman Michael Bennett are two starters who are expected to miss Sunday’s game, and both were held out today. The Seahawks held out a slew of other players as well, including cornerback Richard Sherman and tight end Jimmy Graham, though they’re still expected to play.
Keep an eye on the Seahawks injury report as we get closer to game day, as we should see a lot of those players start participating the next couple of those days. Those who won’t will likely be out for Sunday’s game.
