Doug Martin probably out against Raiders

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arizona Cardinals Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will almost certainly be without Doug Martin on Sunday when they face the Oakland Raiders, as the running back missed his second day of practice this week. Martin hasn’t played since week three. The last and only time he faced the Raiders, Martin rushed for 251 yards and four touchdowns.

In better news, defensive linemen Robert Ayers and Clinton McDonald appear to be on track to play on Sunday. Both of them were limited for the second day in a row, which is an improvement over last week.

Gerald McCoy was also listed as limited on the injury report after practicing fully yesterday, but it’s unclear whether that’s a setback or not. McCoy played almost the entire game last Sunday, and played well.

As for the Raiders, the only player who didn’t practice was starting defensive tackle Stacy McGee, who’s likely to miss Sunday’s game. Other than that, the Raiders have a few players listed as limited, but they’re expected to play on Sunday.
