The game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos has been suspended because of lightning in the area for the second time in two weeks, at just before 7:00 p.m. We have no clear indication of when the game will resume.
Going to be tough to finish #Bucs game without rain/lightning issues. Storms approaching from southeast. pic.twitter.com/ZzimiEcOZh— Paul Dellegatto⚡️FOX (@PaulFox13) October 2, 2016
Last week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had to suspend their game against the Los Angeles Rams for a little over an hour because of lightning, too. That game was very close, but the Bucs ultimately came up 20 yards short of a win.
This week, the Bucs are basically done. The Bucs are down 27-7 with 7:22 left, and the Broncos have the ball. That’s almost impossible to come back from, though it is at least theoretically possible.
Stick with us as we continue to cover the game. Or don’t, because years and years of constant losing have made you numb and uninterested in the final seven minutes of this game.
