While our beloved bumbling bunch of pewter clad Buccanroonies search for the reset button (again), there's playoff football going this weekend. Indeed, franchises that don't fire their coach every other year are competing to represent their hometown in the big daddy of them all Super Bowl 50.
It seems every other year there's a team from the wildcard round that makes a lot of noise (even goes all the way). Who will it be this year?
Here are my picks for Wildcard Weekend.
Last Week: 8-8 50% Upset Specials: 2-3 40%
Final Regular Season Record: 155-101 60% Upset Specials: 16-24 53%
AFC Saturday
Chiefs 24, Texans 13 - KC comes in as the NFL's hottest team. I think it will take a better team than the Houston Texans to stop that momentum.
Upset Special: Bengals 23, Steelers 20 - Everyone is expecting another Cincinnati collapse. Even with the young QB at the helm, I think the Bengals FINALLY get that playoff win.
NFC Sunday
Seahawks 17, Vikings 13 - I think the frigid temperatures will keep the came low scoring and competitive but in the end I can't take Teddy Bridgewater over DangerRuss.
Packers 20, Washington 13 - As badly as the Packers have played down the stretch - its the playoffs and Aaron Rodgers seems to elevate his game for the post season. Not sure if Kurt Cousins is ready for that quite yet.
