NFL Draft Order 2016: Buccaneers get a top ten pick

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have the number nine pick in the 2016 NFL draft, owing to their 6-10 record and a schedule that was just a hair tougher than that of the Miami Dolphins, who get pick number eight. The New York Giants and Chicago Bears also finished with a 6-10 record and will hold the number 10 and 11 picks.

After round one, the Bucs' picks will rotate with those of the other 6-10 teams. They'll have the eighth pick in the second round, the eleventh in the third round, the tenth in the fourth round, the ninth in the fifth round and the eighth in the sixth round. They traded their seventh-round pick to Washington along with Dashon Goldson in exchange for Washington's sixth-round pick, which should give them somewhere between the 21st and 32nd pick in the sixth round as well, depending on Washington's playoff finish.
