The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will hire Dirk Koetter as their new head coach, although it's not quite official yet. Most Bucs fan expected this to happen the moment Lovie Smith was fired, and many cheered it on even before the Bucs moved on from Smith.
Personally, I think it's a good hire. Koetter has experience and a long track record of success as an offensive coordinator and he has prior experience as a head coach. His players obviously love him, and there's really little reason to doubt his competency as a head coach -- and those reasons that are there are generally present for alternative candidates as well.
But enough about me, how do you feel about the Bucs' newest head coach? Do you like the hire, or did you want to see someone else? Let us know below!
