The NFL is back! We had the first game of the season on Thursday night, but today marks the first Sunday of the season with real NFL football. That means you can watch games starting at 1:00 p.m. ET, and not stop until the end of the night when the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys come off the field.
There are plenty of quality games today. The Chicago Bears and their new head coach against Aaron Rodgers' packers, who are missing many of their offensive weapons. The resurgent Houston Texans take on Andy Reid's Kansas City Chiefs. The Seattle Seahawks dynasty has had a fairly noisy offseason, and they get to face the St. Louis Rams who somehow traded for Nick Foles this offseason. What about the deconstructed New Orleans Saints heading to Arizona to take on Carson Palmer and company? Or the shootout we're likely to see in San Diego, where the Detroit Lions are suiting up against the Chargers.
Or for those who like schadenfreude, there's the Cleveland Browns taking on the New York Jets in the battle of the messiest quarterback situations, or the Cincinnati Bengals' eternal mediocrity taking on the Oakland Raiders' eternal awfulness. Or, perhaps, the two worst teams in the NFL last year both starting rookie quarterbacks as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Tennessee Titans.
There's plenty to see on Sunday, for the first time this season. Enjoy!
