The Carolina Panthers may have to go through the season without their number one receiver. Kelvin Benjaming suffered what appears to be a serious knee injury in practice. Cat Scratch Reader has all the details.

That does not look good at all, and it's particularly awful for Kelvin Benjamin after his impressive rookie season.
If the injury is as serious as it seems, it would leave the Panthers without any reliable receivers. Their number one target will be second-round rookie Devin Funchess, which is not a particularly good luck with a mediocre offensive line and a running game heavily reliant on Cam Newton.
And that's good news for the Bucs, of course. The NFC South hasn't improved that much this offseason after being the worst division in the NFL last year, which means the Bucs may not need to be all that good to win the division for the first time since 2007.
