Jameis Winston is one of 40 NFL rookies to be featured at this year's NFLPA rookie premiere, where they will learn about the business of football, get photographed for Topps and Panini America cards and listen to a bunch of speakers. The rookies will be in Los Angeles from Thursday through Sunday, which means Winston will likely miss Thursday's OTA session -- which shouldn't be a huge problem. Amusingly, that's the one day this week on which the media has access to players.
Bucs rookie QB Jameis Winston will miss Thursday's OTA session with team. Flying out tonight for NFLPA Rookie Premiere event in California.

Last year, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Charles Sims and Mike Evans visited the NFLPA rookie premiere, while Mike Glennon was there in 2013 and Doug Martin headed that way in 2012. It's mostly a publicity event for the NFLPA, although SB Nation is always on site to produce some entertaining content. Like last year's interview with Mike Evans.
Hopefully they can get Jameis Winston on camera, this year.
