The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will sign undrafted rookie Antoine Everett out of McNeese State, according to the Tampa Bay Times' Greg Auman. Everett went undrafted largely because he broke a bone in his foot in March, and the Times notes he should be healthy by the end of June -- well in time for the team's training camp, though it does mean he's likely to miss most of OTAs.
At 6'3", 325 lbs. he probably fits best at guard, but he doesn't really fit the athletic mold the Bucs have been looking for. Andrew Brandt listed his pro day 40-yard dash at 5.76 seconds, his broad jump at 7'7", his vertical jump at 20.5", his 20-yard shuttle at 5.18 seconds and his three-cone drill at 8.5 seconds. Perhaps he was limited by that broken bone at that point, because all of those numbers are well, well below average.
Then again, several draftniks did like him.
I've given 25 draftable grades to non-Combine NFL prospects. The top-2? OG Antoine Everett and OC Shaq Mason

I like McNeese OT Antoine Everett...Likely a guard at next level but plays with some power on down blocks and has a sharp punch in pass pro.

The Bucs will have to release a player to sign Everett. and it's not clear who that will be. I know Bucs fans will be looking for Garrett Gilkey to lose his roster spot, but that seems unlikely given that he's held on for this long.
Update: The Bucs have confirmed the signing and have waived TE Emmanuel Ogbuehi to make room.
