Buccaneers "leaning towards" Jameis Winston now

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

What would a day be without another reporter saying something about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' intentions with the number one pick in the 2015 NFL draft? Boring, I tell you! So that's why we now have Jason Cole of Bleacher Report saying the Bucs are leaning towards Jameis Winston, although he acknowledges that could still change.

This isn't surprising, except for one detail: just one week ago, the very same Jason Cole said the Buccaneers were leaning toward Marcus Mariota as the safer option. Apparently the Bucs are now so good at disguising their intentions that they're causing reporters to contradict themselves within a single week.

As I've said before, all of these conflicting reports mostly serve to simply obscure what the Bucs are really thinking. The current consensus is that they prefer Jameis Winston, but there's plenty of conflicting information and uncertainty out there that that could easily change between now and the draft.

All of this brought to you by no-one-knows-anything-about-the-draft-incorporated.
