The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting better and better, and winning more and more games. They're right in the wild card race, where they're almost certain to grab a spot -- as long as they keep winning games. And the rest of the NFL is starting to see the team's potential as well, evidenced by today's power rankings.

Danny Kelly ranked the Bucs 14th (up five) and gave them a pretty accurate review.

Tampa Bay beat the Falcons to move into second place in the NFC South, and the Bucs are also in a position to make a run at that final playoff spot in the NFC.

One ranking was even more positive: Peter King ranked them all the way at number 11, the most positive view of the Bucs I could find. But everyone was suitably impressed with the Bucs, and ranked them somewhere in the mid teens. Pro Football Talk ranks them 15th (up five), USA Today 17th (up one), MLive 15th (up four) and Yahoo! 15th (up four).

Good fun. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are winning games, in the playoff race, and reasonably well-regarded. They may or may not make it to the playoffs, but this is a pretty successful season so far.
