The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Atlanta Falcons today in what should be a crucial game for the NFC Wild Card race. The playoffs are in reach for both teams -- but they'll only remain in reach for the winner of today's match, while the loser will likely have to play out the season with little hope of postseason honors.
I think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers manage to win this one. They're a better team now than they were the first time these two teams met and even without the turnover luck they had that game should be the better team. Matt Ryan is struggling in the new system, and the Falcons have regressed desperately. The Bucs have a few injuries, with Gerald McCoy's absence a hefty blow, but getting Austin Seferian-Jenkins back should help, as should the improved secondary play through the insertion of Sterling Moore and Jude Adjei-Barimah the past few weeks.
