Jameis Winston named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month

Jameis Winston keeps on winning awards. He was named Offensive Rookie of the Month for November, a month in which the Bucs won three games and Winston played some of his best football. Winston is the third Buccaneers quarterback to ever win the award, after Mike Glennon and Shaun King.

Winston completed 95 of 169 passes for 1,179 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions, while also rushing for 78 yards and three touchdowns. The month includes his record-tying five-touchdown performance against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Winston has won three Offensive Rookie of the Week awards this year, as well as a FedEx Air Player of the Week award. He also appears to be on track to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, where Todd Gurley is his main competition. Winston looks to be the Bucs' franchise quarterback, and has certainly displayed the talent and ability for the team to build around for the future.
