Buccaneers get back top top 10 in 2016 NFL Draft Order

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a top 10 pick again, at least for now. At 6-9 they have the tenth overall pick as the draft order currently stands, per NFL Trade Rumors' calculations. The only tie breaker for the draft order is strength of schedule, with the weaker schedule getting the higher pick. At .455, the Bucs have one of the weakest schedules in the league, pushing them ahead of the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints in the draft order, all 6-9.

Just a few weeks ago, it looked like the Bucs would have a chance at making it to the playoffs. Now, they're improving their draft pick every week by losing. It's 2014 all over again, only this time they're not jockeying for the number one pick and a quarterback, but a high enough pick to get either an impact edge rusher or a quality defensive back. Ignore consistent cries for offensive line help from national analysts -- the Bucs have both quality and depth there, and while they may add someone later in the draft they won't look to their first-round pick for that position.

The top ten in draft order for now:

1. Tennessee Titans

2. Cleveland Browns

3. San Diego Chargers

4. Dallas Cowboys

5. San Francisco 49ers

6. Miami Dolphins

7. Jacksonville Jaguars

8. Baltimore Ravens

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

10. New Orleans Saints
