Vincent Jackson, Akeem Spence almost certain to miss Bears vs. Buccaneers

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Wide receiver Vincent Jackson, defensive tackle Akeem Spence and defensive end Kourtnei Brown will almost certainly miss Sunday's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears. All three missed their third consecutive practice this week.

Other than that, though, the Bucs are remarkably healthy. Bruce Carter has been able to practice fully the past two days, as has Gerald McCoy. Logan Mankins returned to practice on a limited basis and should be expected to play, given that he's generally pushed through injuries to suit up this year including last Thursday. Chris Conte is struggling with a knee injury but participating in practice as well.

As for the Chicago Bears, nothing changed there today: wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and linebacker Shea McClellin are both out and stand a good chance of missing Sunday's game. Beyond that, the Bears are mostly healthy with a few players limited in practice but likely to play anyway.
