DLT's Deadlocks - NFL Picks Week 16 2015

DLT is in the Christmas mood as he gives out his picks for the holiday weekend!

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Hi there folks. It's our Christmas version of DLT's Deadlocks. While my picks of late have been lumps of coal, we're hopeful this week we'll have more whoseit's and whatchamacallits. Of course, Christmas isn't about the presents for Christians. It's a time to celebrate the birth of the savior Jesus Christ.

For non-Christians, its a time of peace, renewal and to be with family. As the song goes, its the most wonderful time of the year.

We at Bucs Nation wish you a very happy holiday and for our Christian readers, a very Merry Christmas.

Now, let's see what we can give to our NFL teams.

Last Week: 10-6 62% Upset Specials: 0-2 0%

Season: 140-84 62% Upset Specials: 14-19 42%

Thursday Night, Christmas Eve

Raiders 23, Chargers 13 - It could be the last game in Oakland, so I'd like to give the Raiders one last victory in their old barn. For the Chargers, discounts on their moving vans.

Saturday Night

Eagles 23, Washington 20 - Big game on Saturday. I'll give the Eagles the gift of the NFC East, the  Washington franchise I'll give a new nickname, the Scrooges.

Sunday

Patriots 23, Jets 17 - For the Patriots, the gift of a first round bye. For the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets? A lump of coal because they won't be making the playoffs in the tough AFC.

Texans 23, Titans 10 - For Houston, an opportunity for their first division title. For Tennessee, an opportunity to get the first overall pick in the NFL draft.

Chiefs 30, Browns 10 - For KC, another trip to the playoffs. For Cleveland, another regime change.

Dolphins 23, Colts 17 - For Miami, a tougher decision on the head coach. For Indy, not so much.

Lions 30, 49ers 10 - For the Lions staff - a stay of execution. For the Niners staff, mercy.

Bills 30, Cowboys 20 - For the Bills, a strong finish. For the Cowboys, a finish.

Buccaneers 23, Bears 17- For the Bucs, revenge for Lovie. For Chicago, a higher draft pick.

Panthers 23, Falcons 13 - For Carolina, one step closer to an undefeated season. For Atlanta, more changes.

Steelers 30, Ravens 10 - For Pittsburgh, a playoff berth. For Baltimore, an end to the nightmare.

Upset Special: Jaguars 40, Saints 20 - For the Jags, continued improvement, for New Orleans, hopefully a return of Drew Brees.

Seahawks 30, Rams 20 - For Seattle, a running back. For St. Louis, a new owner.

Cardinals 30, Packers 20 - For Arizona, a statement. For Green Bay, a big game next week.

Sunday Night

Vikings 27, Giants 23 - For Minnesota, a playoff berth and a chance for more next week. For NY, some counseling for OBJ.

Monday Night

Upset Special #2 - Bengals 17, Broncos 10 - The last MNF game of the year would have been a good one if the starting QBs for their. So for both teams, health for their starters.
