Jason Pierre-Paul practices, Victor Cruz, Vincent Jackson still out

Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

Vincent Jackon still has not returned to practice, which almost certain rules him out for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting closer to seeing Austin Seferian-Jenkins get back, as he once again participated in practice -- though still on a limited basis. The Bucs continue to be noncommittal on his return.

Defensive end Jacquies Smith was also unable to participate and Greg Auman noted that he was wearing a boot today, which means he's certainly out for Sunday. The Bucs signed Lawrence Sidbury to fill that hole, while William Gholston was limited and will likely be able to play as well.

For the Giants, Geoff Schwartz and Rueben Randle returned to practice, so those two starters are closer to playing. Victor Cruz and Jon Beason remain out and will almost certainly miss Sunday. Jason Pierre-Paul once again played, though, and it's likely he'll get on the field for the first time this year against the Buccaneers.
