The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to be without Vincent Jackson again this week, as the veteran could not participate in practice today. The Bucs made do without him this past week and somehow won, but they were clearly limited in the receiving corps.
In addition to Jackson missing practice, Jacquies Smith is out with an ankle injury. He was seen after Sunday's game wearing a boot, which is not a good sign -- nor is the fact that the team signed Lawrence Sidbury today. In better news, William Gholston and Austin Seferian-Jenkins were able to participate on a limited basis, which should be good news for their ability to play on Sunday -- though Lovie Smith refused to commit to Seferian-Jenkins playing so his status remains up in the air.
For the Giants, seven players did not participate, most notably Victor Cruz, Jon Beason, Rueben Randle and Geoff Schwartz. Cruz is almost certain to miss Sunday's game. On the other hand, Jason Pierre-Paul was able to practice fully and there's a chance he lines up against the Bucs for the first time this season. Tom Coughlin said they'll make a decision after tomorrow's practice.
