The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are healthier than they've been in weeks. Vincent Jackson is practicing fully after playing this past Sunday for the first time in weeks. Ali Marpet participated on a limited basis, while defensive end George Johnson, safety Keith Tandy and guard Evan Smith missed practice. Smith played Sunday's game at guard with Marpet out, but those roles may be reversed this week.
The bad news is that Austin Seferian-Jenkins continues to be limited, and Lovie Smith said today that he still hasn't been cleared for contact by the trainers. Adam Schefter noted on Sunday that the Bucs expect him back this week, but for that to happen he first needs to be allowed back by the doctors. So far, no go.
As for the Indianapolis Colts, they had seven players miss today's practice with injury, including Andrew Luck who will miss the game against the Bucs. Cornerback Vontae Davis, safety Mike Adams, tackle Anthony Castonzo, linebacker Erik Walden and running back Frank Gore were all absent from today's practice due to injury.
