The Tampa Bay Buccaneers play their former rivals the Philadelphia Eagles today in an effort to stay in the playoff race. The Bucs have struggled to win games this year, but are still 4-5 and have been competitive in almost every matchup. A win in Philadelphia would do nicely to avenge the embarrassing loss two years ago, or the horrifying last-second loss to Nick Foles in his first career win the year before.
I think the Buccaneers win this one, 20-17. With Vincent Jackson back their offense should be given a boost, even if Austin Seferian-Jenkins continues to be absent, while the Eagles have several injuries hindering them on offense. Mark Sanchez doesn't represent a massive step down from Sam Bradford, but it's still one -- and even if Jason Peters plays, he may not be 100%. All of that lines up nicely for a close Tampa Bay win.
They're going to need one, too. Whoever wins this game stays in the playoff race. And the team that doesn't, likely falls out of it. Give us your prediction below!
