The Dallas Cowboys have taken a 3-0 lead on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after one quarter, in what's been a slow game. Neither defense is giving up a lot, but a big punt return by Cole Beasley gave the Cowboys good field position and a couple of first downs helped them score the first quarter's only points.
Kwon Alexander showed up a couple of times in the first quarter to produce a few highlight-reel hits on Matt Cassel, including a sack, but otherwise the game has been quiet so far. Doug Martin has 6 carries for 38 yards, while Darren McFadden is leading the Cowboys attack with 18 yards on six carries. As you can tell by the numbers, this is not a game with explosive offense so far.
The Bucs have the ball and are in scoring position right now, though, and they're looking to at least tie the game on this drive.
