Buccaneers vs. Falcons inactives: Vincent Jackson, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Leonard Hankerson out

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The inactives are in for the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons, and both teams will have to make do without some of their top playmakers. The Bucs will miss Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins. The former suffered a knee injury last week, while the latter has been dealing with a shoulder injury since week two of the regular season.

The Bucs will turn to Donteea Dye and Russell Shepard to complement Mike Evans, who's now their only remotely dependable receiving threat. The Bucs will also be missing defensive tackles Tony McDaniel and Clinton McDaniel, which means Akeem Spence will see extra playing time at nose tackle. In addition, safety Major Wright won't be able to suit up, which should lead to some extra playing time for

In a more surprising move, the Bucs continue to keep cornerback Tim Jennings on the bench. He's once again inactive, despite the fact that the other cornerbacks on the roster haven't exactly held their own. Joe Hawley will once again start for Evan Smith, who's now fully healthy -- suggesting that he, too, has been benched permanently.

As for the Falcons, they'll be missing wide receiver Leonard Hankerson, who's emerged as their number two target behind Julio Jones this year. Obviously, Roddy White will see increased opportunities with him gone. The Falcons will also be without safety William Moore, but are otherwise mostly healthy.
