Buccaneers vs. Falcons: Give us your predictions

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Atlanta to take on the Falcons today, without either Vincent Jackson or Austin Seferian-Jenkins. For their part, the Falcons will be missing Leonard Hankerson and William Moore -- not quite an even trade, but neither team is at full strength.

The Falcons are looking to get their team and especially their offense back on track after struggling to score the past over the last couple of games -- the low point came when they managed just one touchdown and a field goal against the Tennessee Titans last week. Meanwhile, the Bucs want to salvage what's left of their season -- and Lovie Smith needs some wins to hang on to his job for next season.

This should be a competitive game, but I have a hard time seeing the Bucs coming out of this one with a win. Not that this will be a blowout. The Bucs have been too competent and the Falcons too stagnant on offense for that to happen. But certainly Atlanta is clearly the better team, and it seems unlikely the Bucs can get a win in the Georgia Dome. A 23-17 loss seems pretty ridiculous from where I'm sitting.

What do you think?
