Logan Mankins, Julius Thomas questionable for Jaguars vs. Buccaneers

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have to play the Jacksonville Jaguars without veteran Logan Mankins, who missed the final two practices of the week and is officially listed as questionable. He suffered a groin injury during the week and seems unlikely to suit up on Sunday, his likely replacement being second-year tackle Kevin Pamphile.

Johnthan Banks also missed Friday's practice, making his participation a near impossibility. In addition, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Russell Shepard and Evan Smith haven't practiced this week -- we should see Joe Hawley replace the latter again, while the other two will be replaced by a platoon of players. The one good news is that Major Wright is finally back after participating fully in every practice. We'll see whether he reclaims his job as the starting job or splits time with Chris Conte.

As for the Jaguars, they are largely healthy. Marqise Lee and Denard Robinson are out, but Paul Posluszny is listed as questionable despite not practicing all week and Marcedes Lewis, Sergio Brown, Chris Clemons and Allen Hurns are almost certain to suit up. Intriguingly, Julius Thomas is listed as questionable and could play for the first time this season.
