Logan Mankins suffers groin injury, Banks still out

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a new problem along their offensive line: Logan Mankins missed today's practice with a groin injury. It's not clear how serious this injury is and it may just be a bit of maintenance, but if he can't go on Sunday the Bucs will have second-year tackle Kevin Pamphile fill in for him. He was practicing at left guard today, according to Greg Auman.

In addition, Johnthan Banks, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Evan Smith and Russell Shepard continue to be held out of practice, making their participation this weekend extremely unlikely.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars got a little healthier. Sergio Brown, Chris Clemons and Marcedes Lewis returned to full participation and should be good to go for Sunday's game, while Allen Hurns went from being held out to practicing on a limited basis. Paul Posluszny, Marqise Lee and Denard Robinson again missed practice, which means they likely won't play against the Bucs. Julius Thomas continues to be limited and is a very long shot to play.
