Vincent Jackson injury: Buccaneers receivers leaves game with knee injury

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are struggling to hang on to their precarious lead in Maryland, and things just got a little worse: the Bucs announced that Vincent Jackson suffered a knee injury and is questionable to return. He's wearing a baseball hat on the sideline and doesn't look likely to get back in the game, as no one is working on his injury. His status for future games is unknown at this point.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers now have just two healthy receivers in the game, as Louis Murphy was forced to leave the game with a knee injury -- a likely torn ACL -- earlier in the game. He's already been ruled out. That leaves the team with undrafted rookie Donteea Dye, and Mike Evans -- who has at least found his rookie form again with five catches for 118 yards and a touchdown so far in the game.

The Bucs are leading Washington 24-21 in the third quarter, but Washington has scored 21 consecutive points and Tampa Bay looks to be struggling. These injuries surely aren't helping.
