The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting healthier and healthier, but they're not quite there yet. Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Logan Mankins missed their second practice of the week, while the Bucs also saw Bruce Carter sit out today. That's not a good sign for Seferian-Jenkins' and Smith's participation this week, though the former yesterday said he was "close" to returning. The Bucs have struggled to attack the middle of the field in the passing game without the tight end.
Other than those three, the Bucs had all of their players in practice today. Even Akeem Spence participated in his first practice this week, though he is still on the PUP-list and it's unclear whether the Bucs plan to activate him this week. We can, however, expect cornerback Johnthan Banks, center Evan Smith and receiver/special teamer Russell Shepard back on Sunday.
As for Washington, according to ESPN's Britt McHenry, we should not expect DeSean Jackson to play on Sunday. In addition to him, DE Jason Hatcher, C Kory Lichtensteiger, CB DeAngelo Hall and CB Chris Culliver missed practice today.
