Dan Kadar's put out a mock draft, so we get to write about it again. Specifically because it's a two-round mock draft, and we don't see those a whole lot this early in the process.
In the first round, the Bucs go with Marcus Mariota. That's what we see in almost every mock draft out there. It's not going to change for a while. Nothing new there.
The second-round pick is more interesting. The Buccaneers need reinforcements along the offensive line, but Kadar chooses to go with UCLA edge rusher Owamagbe Odighizuwa instead. It's true that the Bucs could really use some extra pass rush -- someone to push Michael Johnson and Jacquies Smith, so the pick makes some sense. Odighizuwa has good size at 6'3", 270 lbs, and he had two sacks in his final outing against USC.
On the other hand, he has just 11.5 career sacks and is more of a run defender than a consistent pass rush pressure, so I'm not sure he'd be the kind of guy the Bucs would be looking for. I do kind of hope they won't draft Owamagbe Odighizuwa, though. Because while those Nigerian names are kind of awesome, that name is going to be hell to type out.
