The Tampa Bay Buccanees and Carolina Panthers play later today, at 4:25 p.m. ET. Football is back! Bucs football is back!
Let's get started a prediction on the game. Who will win and by how much?
Me, I think the Bucs start the Lovie Smith era off right: by beating the kitties in a tight game. Home field advantage, dominant defense and an offense that does just enough will be sufficient to beat a Panthers team that has too little talent surrounding Cam Newton, and a pretty awful secondary. Sure, they were good last year. They won't be this season.
My prediction: Bucs 20, Panthers 17.Two Josh McCown touchdown passes, a stifling run defense, and two picks off Cam Newton.
What's your prediction?
