The Bucs won a game! I get to be not-completely-negative-about-power-rankings.
Wow.
How long ago has that been? 2012? Was there a moment of positivity there? The first few weeks of 2011? Or was it as far back as 2010, when the Bucs actually had a winning season (but still no playoffs)?
I don't know, but I like it. Yay being positive.
Danny Kelly has the Bucs in 26th place, up from 31st last week. Shutdown Corner has the Bucs in 28th place, up from 32nd. The Washington Post has them way up in 22nd place. CBS has them in 28th place. Bleeding Green Nation goes with the 28th spot. And Fox Sports puts them in 27th place.
None of that is overwhelming, of course. But things don't look quite as bleak as they did last week, which is good. And they'll look even better if the Bucs can get it together and beat the Saints this week.
