Buccaneers vs. Falcons score update: Tampa Bay looks lost

It's not getting any better for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kevin C. Cox

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to look shell-shocked against the Atlanta Falcons. Mike Glennon has come in for Josh McCown, but he hasn't really done any better than Josh McCown. No one's really shown up to play, although I guess at least the Falcons didn't score on every single possession. I'm not sure how that happened, but it did. They just scored on nearly every possession.

But hey, another Julio Jones touchdown. Another bit of Devin Hester magic. More offensive incompetence. This game is simply tiring for a Bucs fan. Any Bucs fan. I bet it's tiring for Falcons fans, too: it's hardly suspenseful.

I mean, the Falcons brought in their backups. In the middle of the third quarter. And STILL immediately scored a touchdown. And stopped the Bucs' offense.

So hey, the Bucs are getting blown out 56-0. There's nothing remotely redeeming about this game. It's just bad everywhere.

Incidentally, the Bucs are four points removed from setting the record for the worst loss in NFL history.
