The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have inducted Derrick Brooks into the Ring of Honor, retiring his jersey at the same time. He joins Lee Roy Selmon and Warren Sapp as the only Bucs to have their numbers retired, while John McKay and Jimmie Giles are the other two players in the Ring of Honor.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame was also represented there, and they gave Brooks his Hall of Fame ring at the ceremony.
No one will argue with this selection: Brooks is arguably the best player in Bucs' history, a terrific man both on the field and in the community and he was the face of the franchise. This was a no-brainer, and they only waited this long so that they could celebrate it to coincide with his entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
So who's your favorite player? Mr. Derrick Brooks!
